The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to the town and walking trails nearby. The room had an amazing view, allowing us to wake up to the beautiful scenery of the Dales. The staff were very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
The dorm room had a lingering smell of paint, which was quite unpleasant. there was a person snoring loudly all night, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The self-catering facilities were helpful and the free tea and coffee was very much appreciated. the communal areas were sweet and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Our room felt cramped and the walls were so thin we could hear every word of the conversations in the next room. the shared toilets and washrooms had a bad smell and were quite unpleasant to use.

The views from the hostel were amazing and there were plenty of outdoor activities to do in the area. The communal spaces were nicely decorated and comfortable, perfect for a romantic escape. We also appreciated the kitchen facilities which were well-stocked for self-catering.
The hostel was showing its age with tired and worn out facilities that were in dire need of an upgrade. The staff weren't exactly warm and welcoming, which put a bit of a dampener on our romantic getaway.
